Meet Jente Koops, a 16-year-old rider whose passion for cycling awakened just three years ago. Previously, Jente was mostly found on the ice, but during summer cycling training, she discovered her true love for cycling.
Jente, who sees herself as a time trialist and does not shy away from short climbs, describes herself as an attacker with a preference for classification races. Her motivation? Seeing herself grow through training. Besides road cycling, she enjoys delving into cyclocross in the winter and experimenting with cooking. Music and podcasts are her loyal companions. Her ultimate dream? To become a professional cyclist and participate in, and who knows, win the Tour de France Femmes.
