AG Insurance - Soudal kicks off the 2025 season with a medal in Australia

The new season has officially begun for AG Insurance - Soudal with a strong start at the Australian National Championships, taking place from January 8 to January 12, 2025. Our rider, Anya Louw, represented the team in the individual time trial and delivered an impressive performance.

The time trial, held on relatively flat terrain in Perth, covered a distance of 28.8 kilometers. Anya crossed the finish line with a time of 40 minutes and 54 seconds, securing a bronze medal. The victory went to Brodie Chapman, with Amber Pate taking the silver medal.

Anya shared her excitement after the race: "I am really happy with this podium! The race went to plan and my legs felt good on the day. It was difficult as the course was really high speed, but I think I got the best out of myself on the day. Looking forward to riding with my teammate Alex on Sunday in the Road Race!"

This podium finish marks the first for AG Insurance - Soudal in 2025, setting a promising tone for the season ahead.

The championships continue on Sunday, January 12, with the road race on the schedule. AG Insurance - Soudal will have two riders on the start line: Anya Louw and Alex Manly, the latter of whom joined the team in 2025. The road race will also take place in Perth, covering a distance of 109 kilometers.
