Fauve Bastiaenssen joins AG Insurance - Soudal in 2025, fully embracing her passion for cycling. With a background in basketball and a degree in Movement Sciences, she’s a true sports enthusiast. Training rides are often accompanied by podcasts, and her pre-race go-to meal is homemade spaghetti bolognese.

"What attracted me to AG Insurance - Soudal is the way the team always shows up as a united group and stands out with their attacking style of racing. It’s clear that this is a team focused on growth and professionalism, and the atmosphere always seems great. The opportunity to turn professional and join such an environment was an easy choice for me.

Within the team, I see myself primarily in a supporting role, helping the leaders as much as possible in flat races and classics. I also hope to occasionally have my own opportunities, whether in breakaways or achieving a strong result.

My personal goals for 2025 are focused on the spring classics, where I want to shine in races like Nokere Koerse, the Tour of Flanders, and Paris-Roubaix. With the professional support of the team and the strong riders around me, I aim to keep improving, both in the classics and in climbing, so I can contribute even more in the future."
