Gaia's Bio

Gaia Masetti, an energetic Italian cyclist, has been part of AG Insurance - Soudal since 2022. Her passion for cycling was inspired by her father, and after winning her first race at the age of six, she knew cycling was her calling. After completing her studies in quality control, Gaia confidently pursued a professional career on the bike.

Gaia is known as a versatile rider, excelling in short climbs, sprints, and flat terrains. In 2024, she delivered a remarkable performance by helping Italy secure gold at the European Championships Mixed Relay Time Trial. She is determined to continue growing in the northern classics, where she aims to refine her skills and make her mark.

Outside of cycling, Gaia enjoys life’s simple pleasures, like pizza, ice cream, and listening to her favorite music during training rides. With her drive and passion, she looks forward to supporting her team and achieving big results.
