Mireia Benito from Catalonia is part of AG Insurance - Soudal and found her way into cycling after a knee injury during her basketball career. What started as rehabilitation quickly turned into a true passion.

She is known as a determined and attacking rider, with strong abilities against the clock. Her palmarès includes a national time trial title and notable performances in stage races, where she often stands out with her aggressive racing style.

Mireia thrives in tougher terrain and has a clear preference for hilly Classics. Alongside her cycling career, she also built a strong academic background in biotechnology and molecular biology.
