Nicole's Bio

Nicole Steigenga, a dynamic Dutch cyclist, has been part of AG Insurance - Soudal since 2023. Known for her strength and resilience, Nicole worked tirelessly in 2024 to make her comeback after a serious crash at Le Samyn in February 2023. While trying to avoid a pile-up, she hit a lamppost, leading to an intense recovery journey. Now, she’s looking forward to starting the 2025 season fully recovered, with her ultimate goal—the Ronde van Vlaanderen—keeping her motivated.

With a national junior title, a professional victory in Valencia, and a top-10 finish at Vårgårda, Nicole brings valuable experience to the team. As a puncher, she thrives in spring classics, particularly her favorite, De Ronde.

Outside of racing, Nicole is also a certified physiotherapist. She enjoys life’s simple pleasures, like après-ski music and her favorite treat: waffles. With her determination and positive mindset, Nicole is ready to keep chasing her cycling dreams.
