Sarah's bio

Sarah Gigante grew up in Australia in an active and adventurous family with a passion for cycling. Annual cycling and camping trips laid the foundation for her love of the sport, which became clear from a young age.

She has developed into a versatile rider with strong abilities in both climbing and time trialling. Her palmarès includes an overall victory at the Santos Tour Down Under, the mountains classification at the Giro d’Italia Donne and a key role in the winning team classification of that same race. She also proved her level in the Tour de France Femmes, where she remained in contention for a podium position deep into the race.

Sarah combines her talent with an analytical mindset and strong determination, allowing her to keep progressing at the highest level.

Within AG Insurance - Soudal, she continues to build her career, aiming to perform in the general classification and play an important role within the team.
