The U23 riders from AG Insurance - Soudal are gearing up for the 36th edition of Gracia Orlova, a multi-stage cycling race held in the Czech regions of Moravia-Silesia, Zlín, and partially in the Slovak Republic. The course spans approximately 377 kilometers, divided into three stages and two half-stages, within category 2.2 of cycling.

The race, scheduled from April 25 to April 28, begins with a stage from Orlová to Štramberk covering 104.2 kilometers and featuring an uphill finish. The second stage takes the riders over a challenging 101.5-kilometer course around Lichnov, with more than 1900 meters of elevation gain, although the finish is relatively flat. The third stage on April 27 is split into two parts: a morning stage of 13.5 kilometers and an afternoon stage of 71.9 kilometers around Havířov, which particularly favors sprinters. The final stage on April 28, a 101.6-kilometer ride with eight local rounds after an initial 12.7 kilometers in Bohumín, will pose the final challenge for the participants.

The AG Insurance - Soudal team selection consists of Lore De Schepper, Mirre Knaven, Julia Kopecky, Jade Linthoudt, Margot Marasco, and Laurza Lizette Sander.

“This race seems to suit me well. Especially the first day, which ends with a 2 km climb, should be in my favor—and I think Julia will also perform strongly there. The first two days are the toughest, and I expect that a significant part of the general classification will be determined then. The second stage, with its long climbs, attracts me the most; it suits me well. I hope for large time differences, so that I can work more supportively for my teammates over the weekend to achieve a good stage result together. I really hope I get the chance to ride for the classification on the first two days”, says Lore De Schepper.
