The 25th edition of the Simac Ladies Tour, the only Women's World Tour stage race in the Benelux, is set to venture beyond the Dutch borders for the first time, with Leuven as the guest city in Belgium. The Simac Ladies Tour includes a prologue in Ede, a time trial in Leuven, and four stages across the Netherlands where both sprinters and riders who thrive on challenging courses can compete for a stage win.

Ally Wollaston, Maaike Boogaard, Maud Rijnbeek, Ilse Pluimers, Marthe Goossens, Romy Kasper, and Anya Louw will be at the start of this penultimate race on our team calendar. Our team shows impressive versatility, with a remarkable five out of our seven riders excelling in time trials, including Ally, Maaike, Maud, Ilse, and Marthe. For the remaining stages, we can rely on the power of Romy and Anya.

"The Simac Ladies Tour is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful races of the year, a nice mix with a short prologue of just over two kilometers, followed by a 7km time trial in Leuven, two demanding stages with a lot of climbing, and finally, two flat stages, incorporating various disciplines."

"In Ally and Maaike, we have two riders who can achieve good results, but of course, the rest of the team is also strong, and they all have solid time trial skills. There is a lot of potential, and what is also great about the race is that AG Insurance is one of the sponsors of this cycling event, which gives us all extra motivation. It is one of the last major races of the season, followed by the GP Wallonie and the Tour of Romandie, which means the entire team will be highly motivated to close the season in style and achieve the best possible results, especially considering it has been quite a successful year", said sports director Servais Knaven.
