AG Insurance – Soudal ready for GP de Wallonie

Tomorrow, AG Insurance – Soudal will be at the start of the Grand Prix de Wallonie, a 129-kilometer race from Disonto the legendary uphill finish at the Citadel de Namur. Known for its rolling terrain and explosive finale, the race promises a selective outcome and another exciting challenge for the team.

Sports director Stijn Steels previewed the race:

“GP Wallonie, of course we try to continue like we did last weekend in Hauts de France, Fourmies and Stuttgart where we scored a fifth, fourth and third spot. Those were great results with Gladys and Shari, and we’ll try to do this again. It’s an interesting course with some short climbs in the end and the finish at the famous Citadel de Namur. Shari showed in Stuttgart that hard races suit her really well, so we’ll try again at GP Wallonie. Next to that, we also have Gladys with us, so we bring a strong lineup to aim for a good result. We have two youngsters from our Devo team who can show themselves and gain experience at this level, while Alex and Nicole bring more experience, which makes it a well-balanced team.”
