21 riders. Ten races. Six countries. We’re in for an exciting couple of days, as the National Championships are about to start. One of the best weeks of the whole season will see riders go for the prestigious jerseys in the demanding time trial and road races, and AG Insurance - Soudal aims to be a key protagonist in these events and fight for top results, as underlined by sports manager Jolien D’hoore.

“In Belgium, Marthe has won a silver last season and shown on numerous occasions what she is capable of in a time trial, and we are confident she can be a protagonist again. On Sunday, we’ll have many riders at the start of the road race and we hope to keep the jersey that Justine won one year ago in the team, although we know it won’t be easy, as the competition is strong there.”

“Over the border, in France, Gladys has high ambitions for the road race and can count on Amandine Fouquenet, while Amandine Muller will do the time trial. Letizia could also go for a medal in the Italian road race, while Mireia - a three-time ITT National champion - can get good results in both events scheduled this week in Spain. Of course, there’s also Kim, who came out of Suisse with a good result and feeling and is motivated, but we can hope for something nice in the Netherlands as well, where Ilse, Nicole and Leonie will be at the start”, added AG Insurance - Soudal’s sports manager.
