AG Insurance-Soudal heads to the Danilith Nokere Koerse full of confidence on Wednesday. The start of this classic takes place in Deinze, with a finish that leads the riders to the top of the famous Nokereberg. Spanning a distance of 127 kilometers, the participants will face 17 kilometers of cobbles, part of a course with a total climbing elevation of 808 meters. Key sections such as the Lange Ast, Hellestraat, Holstraat, Petegemberg, Fabriekstraat, and of course, the Nokereberg, will set the stage for this race. The course concludes with two local laps of 31.3 kilometers.

The AG Insurance-Soudal team consists of a mix of four elite riders - Ilse Pluimers, Marthe Goossens, Maud Rijnbeek, and Anya Louw - and two U23 riders, Febe Jooris and Jade Linthoudt.

Jolien, team leader of AG Insurance-Soudal, shared: “I always consider Nokere to be one of the most beautiful races. This year, the course has been slightly adjusted, which changes the finale and adds an extra cobblestone section. It’s a classic that’s often underestimated; really a tough, but incredibly beautiful race. I’m looking forward to it a lot. As for our team, we have a strong lineup. Marthe Goossens as our sprinter, Ilse Pluimers, and Maud Rijnbeek, who have shown their worth in Drenthe, and Anya Louw, who also demonstrated her strength in the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. With Febe Jooris and Jade Linthoudt, we add two Belgian U23 riders to our team, bringing everything nicely into balance. For Febe, it’s even a home race. It’s always fun and challenging to race with the promising riders. I hope I can teach them something.”
