Sporting and Technical Director Servais Knaven outlines the ambitions and strategies of the AG Insurance – Soudal team for the upcoming season.

"On a sporting level, all Belgian races are of great importance to us," Knaven stated. "Additionally, the Tour de France is a significant goal for the team and for our top cyclist Ashleigh Moolman Pasio. We are particularly looking forward to the stage through Wallonia and the legendary finish at l'Alpe d'Huez."

Servais also emphasized the strengthening of the team with the arrival of new cyclists. "With Julie Van De Velde, Sarah Gigante, and Kim Le Court, we have significantly bolstered our team, especially in hilly terrain. This gives us a broader and stronger core for these specific races."

Another key focus for AG Insurance - Soudal in 2024 is the development of young talent. "We continue to invest in our riders from the U23 team. We expect that several of them will advance to the WorldTour Team. It is crucial for us that the U23 riders regularly get the opportunity to ride with the WorldTour Team and gain experience at the highest level," Knaven added.

Director Patrick Lefevere spoke as follows: “I would like to sincerely thank AG Insurance and our other sponsors for their unwavering support over the past year, and I am delighted that they will continue to stand by our side in 2024. Without them, the WorldTour license would not have been possible. And credit where credit is due: it was the cyclists who earned the necessary points. Their commitment and performances are the driving forces behind our success. Our ambitions for 2024 are clear. We aim to strengthen our position at the top of professional cycling, with a special focus on both the classics and the Tour. We are ready for the challenges that 2024 will bring and look forward to the achievements we will accomplish together as a team in the coming year.”
