In the fifth and final stage of the Tour of Scandinavia, covering a distance of 144 kilometers, AG Insurance - Soudal Quick-Step we’re prominent with a strong sustained attack by Anya Louw. At 64 kilometer Anya Louw, Elena Hartmann, and Mia Sofie Rützou went into the breakaway which colored the entire race.

Soon Anya and Elena had to carry on this attack together, forming a leading duo against the peloton for the majority of the race, until they both unfortunately crashed with just 21 kilometers to go. Anya quickly got back into the race, only to be caught by the peloton with 8 kilometers left.

The final 22.5 kilometers consisted of three local laps, each spanning 7.5 kilometers, with an 800meter climb toward the finish line. The race was challenged by a reduced peloton, ending in a victory for Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig. Anya Louw takes the jersey of most combative rider.

"Today, I felt really strong, which allowed me to pull away from the main group halfway through the race. Alongside Danish cyclist Elena Hartmann, we managed to build a lead of about 4 minutes until the local laps began. Unfortunately, we were caught up in a crash as the local laps started, involving some race organization cars. Fortunately, I managed to continue solo and tried to stay ahead of the main group for as long as I could, but they caught me at the beginning of the last local lap. Our team did an excellent job today, working together to position Ashleigh well for the final push to the finish line. Good performance by the entire team today.", shared a combative Anya.
