Baloise Ladies Tour Selection

AG Insurance - Soudal is ready for the Baloise Ladies Tour, which will take place from Wednesday, July 17, to Sunday, July 21. This year promises a beautiful series of stages with routes through picturesque Flanders and the charming Dutch coastal region, offering a mix of breathtaking landscapes and technical challenges.

The Baloise Ladies Tour starts on Wednesday, July 17, with a 2,7 kilometer prologue in Hulst, followed by a 113,8 kilometer stage from Breskens to Knokke-Heist on Thursday. On Friday, the riders will race in the Zulte region over a distance of 126,8 kilometers. Saturday will be a challenging day with a 94,7 kilometer stage in Zwevegem, followed by an 11 kilometer time trial. The final day, Sunday, takes place in Deinze and covers 116,9 kilometers.

The selection for this tour includes Febe Jooris, Jade Linthoudt, Laura Lizette Sander, Leonie Bentveld, Maaike Boogaard, and Margot Marasco.

Sports director Stijn Steels says: “The Baloise Ladies Tour is the perfect event for our riders to experience the Flemish terrain. Febe, Laura Lizette, and Maaike will have the opportunity to compete in the time trial on Saturday, while the U23 riders can race against the pros on the challenging Flemish terrain, featuring cobblestones and some Flemish hills. Most stages are likely to end in a sprint, so we need to race aggressively and focus on a strong performance in the time trial, which can contribute to a good overall classification.”
