Four World Tour and two Devo riders will make up our squad for Friday’s event.

It’s the race that precedes the start of the Ardennes Classic, a spectacular race in its own right, thanks to the combination of hills and fast descents that give almost no respite, and our team is motivated to be a protagonist on those famous Belgian roads.

Brabantse Pijl holds its 11th edition on Friday, when the peloton will start from Lennik and take on a 125.7km course featuring a total of 19 climbs on their way to Overijse, where the day traditionally concludes. The most famous of these is the S-Bocht, the last hill of the day, which averages 4.1% over 1300 meters - the perfect launchpad for those hoping to avoid a reduced bunch sprint at the finish.

One of the most experienced riders in the World Tour peloton, Ashleigh-Moolman Pasio will make her seventh appearance at Brabantse Pijl, a race which she has finished three times in the top ten. The South African will be joined on the start line by Anya Louw, Alexandra Manly, Nicole Steigenga, as well as two Devo riders, Nina Lavenu and Borlo ITT winner Luca Vierstraete.

We travel with a nice mix of World Tour and Devo riders there and are motivated to do a good race and try to shape it by going on the attack. It would be great to have one or two riders in the finale. We’ll give our best to make the most out of it and hopefully we’ll get a good result at the end of the day”, said AG Insurance - Soudal sports director Fien Delbaere.
