Brautigam claims bronze at the German National Time Trial Championships

The young German rider secured a podium finish after a strong ride in challenging conditions.

Messane Brautigam added another medal to AG Insurance - Soudal's tally at the National Championships by claiming bronze in the Individual Time Trial at the German National Championships.

Racing in extremely hot conditions on a demanding course that featured a decisive climb in the closing kilometres, Brautigam produced a well-paced effort to finish on the podium.

After the race, she reflected positively on both her performance and the experience.

"It was a nice time trial for me in really hot conditions. It was hard to pace because of the heat and a climb in the last 5km. But I’m happy with the result and I had a lot of fun during the championship and in the preparation."

The bronze medal continues an excellent week for AG Insurance - Soudal at the National Championships, with strong performances being delivered across Europe as riders compete for their national colours.
