Contract renewal for Justine & Marthe

AG Insurance – Soudal is delighted to announce that two of our Belgian elite cyclists, Justine Ghekiere and Marthe Goossens, have extended their contracts until 2026.

Marthe Goossens, 21 years old and a member of our elite team since 2023, has quickly paved her way to success in cycling. Last year, she finished second in the Belgian National Road Championships. Although she has not been active on the road for long, Marthe had an impressive career in BMX racing. Her dynamic and versatile approach to the sport has made her a valuable member of our team.

Marthe shares her excitement about the contract extension: “I am extremely enthusiastic about my contract extension until 2026 with AG Insurance – Soudal. It feels like a great opportunity to be part of this team for the coming years, which is more than just a team - it's like a family where I truly feel at home. I look forward to continuing to ride in these colors, to further develop myself, and to grow together with my teammates and the staff, who share a vision for the future. This contract means much more to me than just continuing to ride for the team. It represents my commitment to keep investing and growing, both on and off the bike, in this sport that is so dear to my heart.”

Just like Marthe Goossens, Justine Ghekiere, 27 years old, has been part of AG Insurance – Soudal since 2023 and has recently extended her contract until 2026. Justine, who started her cycling career in 2020, has shown remarkable progress in a short time. Her spectacular debut in 2023, winning the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana and claiming the general classification, underscores her strength within the team.

“I am excited about continuing my journey with AG Insurance - Soudal until 2026. The unique, familial atmosphere within the team is something I greatly enjoy and truly need. My focus this season is on the Walloon classics and the tours. Additionally, I am committed to providing maximum support to Ashleigh, as I did last year, but I will also seize my own opportunities as they arise”, says a motivated Justine.
