Sarah Gigante makes her return from injury at the four-day stage race which starts this Thursday.

For the first time in more than a year, Sarah Gigante will pin on a number as she will join AG Insurance - Soudal for the 24th edition of the Faun Tour. The Australian, a top-three finisher and winner of the mountain classification at the 2025 Giro d’Italia, has been sidelined since last August after a training injury, and will now use the French event to ease back into racing and feel again the rhythm of the peloton without any specific goals performance-wise.

Megan Arens - who joined the team this summer - Lore De Schepper, Justine Ghekiere, Emma Siegers, and Urska Zigart will also be on our roster for the French race which puts on the table a demanding course featuring many climbs, difficult gradients, and an elevation gain of more than 7000 meters.

“We are looking forward to a good race at the Faun Tour, where we are going with a really strong group of climbers ready to take on the challenges the four stages will present. We are excited to welcome Megan to the team in her first race with AG Insurance - Soudal, and also to give a very warm welcome to Sarah, who is returning to competition after all this time. It’s been a long road back for her, and this is an important milestone in her recovery, so it’s only normal that she will start the race without any pressure”, said sports director Dani Christmas.
