Fee Knaven secures third place in the time trial at the EPZ Omloop van Borsele

Fee Knaven of AG Insurance – Soudal delivered a strong performance today, by securing third place on the first day of the 37th edition of the EPZ Omloop van Borsele for Junior Women. This three-day cycling race takes place in the picturesque Zeeland landscape of ’s-Heerenhoek.

The opening day featured a 14.2 kilometer time trial, where Fee demonstrated she could compete with the best by achieving an impressive third place.

"There was a lot of wind today, so I needed some time to get into the rhythm at the start of the time trial. But after that, it went very well, and I was able to perform my time trial properly. I am very satisfied with the result, and even more pleased because Roos finished fourth and will start tomorrow in the white jersey. We are looking forward to tomorrow and are ready to give it our all," said a happy Fee Knaven.

The event continues with a 72.9 kilometer circuit on Saturday, followed by a closing day on Sunday with a 76.8 kilometer course. For the elite women, a 133.5-kilometer race is scheduled for April 20th.
