Ilse Pluimers withdraws from Thuringen Ladies Tour

AG Insurance – Soudal will start tomorrow's stage of the Thuringen Ladies Tour with five riders. Unfortunately, Ilse Pluimers had to withdraw during the third stage due to an injury. After consulting with the team doctor, it was decided that she would return home this evening for further examination, which will take place tomorrow. “We are taking no risks and want to ensure her readiness for the upcoming races”, said team doctor Sophie Van Bakel.

Ilse Pluimers expressed her disappointment after the race: “I regret having to leave the Thuringen Ladies Tour early due to an injury. Fortunately, I can undergo further examination tomorrow, ensuring I am fit for the next races. I wish my teammates the best of luck in the upcoming stages.”
