Kick off the European Championships

The European Championship got underway today in Drenthe with a strong presence of nine riders from our three teams at the starting line.

In our U19 team, Luca Vierstraete, Nela Kankovska, and Fee Knaven represented us. Fee delivered an outstanding performance, securing a 5th place on the 20,6 kilometer course in Emmen, with an impressive average speed of 45.525 kilometers per hour.

"The time trial went generally well, but not quite as I had hoped. The gusts of wind on the N-road slightly disrupted my concentration, but overall, I am satisfied! My goal was to finish in the top 5, and I achieved that," Fee said after the finish.

Maud and Gaia, on the other hand, achieved the best results in the U23 category, finishing 8th and 10th, respectively.
