Kim Le Court-Pienaar retains Mauritian road race title

The AG Insurance - Soudal rider completed another perfect National Championships by securing both the time trial and road race titles.

Kim Le Court-Pienaar rounded off a flawless weekend at the Mauritian National Championships by successfully defending her Road Race title, adding it to the Individual Time Trial crown she claimed earlier this week.

The double means the 29-year-old will once again wear the distinctive Mauritian national champion's jersey throughout the coming season, extending her reign as the country's best rider in both disciplines.

Following her victory, Le Court-Pienaar expressed her pride at representing her country for another year.

"Happy to defend my title. Being a double national champion means a lot to me. Proud to wear the quadricolour jersey for another season and continue flying the Mauritian flag high."
