Lore De Schepper and Febe Jooris withdraw from Tour de l’Avenir

On Friday, the second and penultimate stage of the Tour de l’Avenir was raced, but unfortunately, two riders from AG Insurance – Soudal were not at the start: Febe Jooris and Lore De Schepper.

“Unfortunately, I couldn’t start today due to some gastrointestinal issues. It’s disappointing to have to leave the race, especially since I was in third place in the general classification. I’m looking forward to coming back and wish the best to the rest of the team, whom I will continue to fully support”, said a disappointed Lore.

"It’s unfortunate that Lore and I couldn’t start and that we both fell ill. I hope we recover quickly, and in the meantime, we’ll be cheering for the others," added Febe.
