Medical Update: Urška Žigart

Following her crash in the final kilometre of Stage 2 of the Tour de Suisse Women, Urška Žigart was immediately attended to by the race medical team before being transferred to hospital for further examinations.

After undergoing several medical assessments, Urška has been diagnosed with a fractured jaw. Fortunately, no other injuries were detected during the examinations.

The team's medical staff are currently evaluating the next steps required to ensure Urška receives the best possible treatment and recovery process. At this stage, our primary focus is on her health and well-being.

We would like to thank the race medical team, hospital staff and everyone who has sent messages of support following the incident.
