Six riders of our youngster squad will be at the start on Saturday.

The race, held around the town of Eijsden, will comprise eight laps of a hard circuit featuring two climbs - Savelsbosweg and Moerslag - a terrain suited to the attackers. However, the last 12 kilometers are completely flat, meaning that those dropped on the hills will have a fair chance of making it back to the front of the race.

Billy Goossens, Helena Jones, Nina Lavenu, Tess Moerman, who finished a solid second last weekend at the Borlo ITT won by teammate Amandine Muller, and Emma Siegers will be our riders for the fourth edition of this one-day race.

Our Devo team have performed really well this season in various national level races and when they have had the opportunity to step up and race alongside the World Tour squad. Each of these races has provided learning opportunities and working points. At the NXT Classic we will aim to put working points from the previous races into practice in order to deliver the best possible team performance.”

“This will be our first 1.2 UCI level race where we will go with a full Devo team. The course has been adapted adding an extra level of challenge, but we have a strong motivated team lining up in Eijsden ready to start a big weekend of racing for the team”, explained AG Insurance - Soudal sports director Dani Christmas.
