“For the Simac Ladies Tour, we’re starting with six riders and have a strong team for the final race of the season. Tomorrow we begin with the time trial, which will give us a first indication of where we stand. However, the real differences will be made in the coming days, especially with the predicted wind and echelons.
We’ll take it day by day. If it comes down to a sprint, Ally will be our lead rider, but with the wind and echelons, it will be crucial to stay at the front. We also have strong riders like Ilse, Maaike, Maud, Marthe, and Julia, who are experienced in these types of races.
We’re hoping for good stage results, and if everything goes well, a strong overall classification will follow. The field is tough, but we’ll take it one step at a time,” said sports director Fien Delbaere.
