A Historic Worlds in Rwanda

For our riders, this championship is more than just another race – it’s the first time the Worlds are held in Africa. This makes the event especially meaningful for Kim Le Court-Pienaar and Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio, who will proudly represent the African continent on its biggest stage.

AG Insurance–Soudal is proud to support ten riders in Rwanda, united by one family but carrying six different flags. We look forward to an unforgettable week of racing, filled with passion, resilience, and the spirit of global cycling.

“It feels really special. To be on the start line of the very first World Championships in Africa, in my Mauritius jersey, is something I never imagined I’d get to experience. It’s bigger than me, it’s about showing that riders from small nations can be part of these historic moments. I’m proud to represent my country and I know it will be an emotional day. - Kim Le Court-Pienaar

“As the reigning African champion, I couldn’t be more excited for the World Championships in Kigali, Rwanda. I had the chance to recon the course last November, and it’s going to be a thrilling race. I know the atmosphere in Kigali will be amazing, the crowds, the spirit, the energy of Africa. It’s something I truly thrive on. I love Africa, and I cannot wait to race in front of a home crowd.” - Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio
