Kim Le Court-Pienaar headlines our six-rider squad for this week’s event.

Following a successful Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, our team is ready to take on another important World Tour race, the Tour of Britain, which this year runs its 11th edition between 19-23 August.

The parcours, totaling 636 kilometers, should make for some aggressive and spectacular racing, thanks to the presence of many short but punchy climbs where the peloton can easily be split. Of the five stages, the third one stands out as it will finish on The Great Orme, a 2.5km climb averaging 6% where the gaps created between the general classification contenders could prove to be decisive by the time the race concludes two days later in Royal Leamington Spa.

Kim Le Court-Pienaar, who one year ago won in Redcar, will lead AG Insurance - Soudal this week in what will be her first appearance since taking a spectacular stage victory and finishing ninth overall at the Tour de France. The Mauritian Champion will be joined at the start by Letizia Borghesi, Amandine Fouquenet, Marthe Goossens, Alexandra Manly, and Trofee Maarten Wynants winner Gladys Verhulst-Wild.

We have a strong team heading into the Tour of Britain, ready to fight for good results. Racing on British roads always brings an extra dynamic, and with a parcours that offers a bit of everything, we’ll need to be switched on from stage one. The riders are ready to get stuck in and race hard for five days. It’s going to be full gas from the start and we’re motivated to leave our mark on the race”, said sports director Dani Christmas.
