European silver medallist Laura Fivé joins AG Insurance - Soudal Devo Team

AG Insurance - Soudal is delighted to announce the signing of Belgian talent Laura Fivé, who will join the AG Insurance - Soudal Devo Team from 2027.

The 17-year-old Belgian joins the team after an impressive 2026 season, which she crowned with a strong second place in the Junior Women’s Individual Time Trial at the European Road Championships in Slovenia on Wednesday. Fivé battled for the European title over 22.1 kilometres, setting the fastest time at both intermediate checkpoints before eventually finishing just three seconds behind Spanish winner Alejandra Neira. 

The silver medal adds to an already impressive season for Fivé, who has established herself as one of Belgium’s young time trial talents. In May, she successfully defended her Belgian Junior Individual Time Trial title, taking the national title in Maarkedal for the second consecutive year. A few weeks later, she finished sixth in the road race.

Her international performances have further underlined her potential. At the UCI Junior Road World Championships in Montréal, Fivé finished fifth in the individual time trial. She also finished 15th in the 2026 European Championships road race.

Beyond the road, Fivé also gained valuable international experience on the track in 2026, finishing fifth in the Madison at the UCI Junior Track World Championships alongside Anna Meeusen. She also recorded a strong 11th place at the Ronde van Vlaanderen for juniors.

Fivé now takes the next step in her development with the AG Insurance - Soudal Devo Team. Her arrival further strengthens the team’s commitment to developing young (Belgian) talents.
