Justine's Bio

Justine Ghekiere, a Belgian rider with an unconventional path to the professional peloton, is part of AG Insurance - Soudal. Sport has always been a central element in her life, from working as a physical education teacher and lifeguard to her role as a personal coach.

She discovered cycling later than most, but quickly stood out thanks to her rapid progression. What started with virtual racing evolved into a professional career, where she developed into one of the strongest climbers in the peloton.

Her palmarès includes mountain classification victories in both the Giro d’Italia Donne and the Tour de France Femmes, a stage win in the latter, as well as a Belgian national title. With her attacking style, resilience and natural climbing ability, she is a rider who animates the race.

Within AG Insurance - Soudal, Justine continues to build her career, aiming to perform in the biggest races and fully express her strengths within the team.
