Successful French National Championships for AG Insurance - Soudal

Amandine Muller claims the Amateur Individual Time Trial title, while Nina Lavenu wins the Amateur Road Race to cap off a memorable weekend for the team.

The French National Championships proved to be a successful hunting ground for AG Insurance - Soudal, with the team collecting two national titles and three podium finishes across the Individual Time Trial and Road Race.

The weekend got off to the perfect start in the Individual Time Trial, where Amandine Muller claimed the French Amateur title after an impressive ride in demanding conditions. Competing on a challenging course in soaring temperatures, she also finished an excellent fifth among the Elite riders.

Reflecting on her performance, Muller said: "It’s really nice to win this TT and do 5 with the elites, it was a hard race in the heat and the course was tough! Thanks to the team and Sanne for the help."

The celebrations continued in the Amateur Road Race. After an aggressive race by AG Insurance - Soudal, Nina Lavenu sprinted to her first individual French national title, while Muller added another podium finish by taking third place.

Lavenu was delighted with both the victory and the team's collective performance. "The race went really well! I’m thrilled to share the podium with Amandine and to claim my first individual French championship title. We raced brilliantly and were aggressive. That first-place finish, along with Amandine taking third, is a great reward for our aggressive race."

Two national titles, three podium finishes and a series of strong performances made it a French National Championships to remember for AG Insurance - Soudal.
